I want to acknowledge and offer my deepest condolences to our beautiful home-away-from-home, Poland, during this unfathomable utterly disastrous national tragedy. Whatever anyone's personal politics, the loss of such a giant collection of government is going to have a huge impact on the entire country's overall psyche and I'm sure will throw a giant wrench into the running of many important political posts... Having such a close personal connection now and forever to Poland, I feel this colossal catastrophe as if it happened to our own country. The fact that it was a mission of peace adds an extra harsh sting to this already mournful situation. I'm so sorry to hear of any kind of bad news from your country where we only know of amazingly kind and wonderful people... Tell Poland to be strong!!

It is with great sadness that we learned about President Lech Kaczynski and other top-ranking officials being killed in that plane crash. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to all people of Poland at this time. I do not know enough about the political structure of Poland to know how this will affect the country, but I do know that your President appeared to be popular with the people and very well liked internationally.
